2022 Rally Reviews

Easter Weekend held at Kineton Sports and Social Club, 14th - 19th April

For the first rally of the season Coventry DA was at Kineton Sports and Social Club for our Easter and annual charity meet and this year for the first time we also held the DA’s AGM which was a success as we had over 40 members attend.
The weather was good for us and this brought out over 100 units not just Coventry members but from all areas of the country from Somerset to South Lincolnshire and they all had plenty to entertain them over the weekend.
Friday evening, we held an Easter bonnet parade for children and adults and there was a good turnout. Child winner was Darcie Waldron and the adult was Pam Kingsley Smith
Saturday, we had the AGM in the afternoon followed a game of Bingo outside of one the visitors’ caravans to raise more money for the charity and I would like to thank Brendon for organising this. In the evening we were entertained by a band called the Little Eagles and they were excellent and kept everyone well entertained
Sunday morning at coffee time we held our charity event where we sold refreshments and home-made cakes, there was also a tombola and the children were kept busy by Circus Kevin who bought along all his circus activities and cycles. This was followed by an Easter egg hunt for the children that had been organised by the social club. In the evening we had another good live duo called the Caverner’s who play a selection of 60’s music.
Overall, the weekend was a success and was enjoyed by all who attended.
